The next meeting of the Upper Valley Woodturners will be on
Saturday, May 19th 2012 at Thetford Academy in Thetford.
1. This meeting will focus on turning boxes. After a demo by Heath Boyer everyone will have an opportunity to turn a box.
We will be doing this with both traditional tools and with non-traditional tools. So if you have any non-traditional tools such as a Termite ring tool, Sorby hollower , Easywood tool, etc. please bring it so others can try using these tools.
2. We will have an afternoon session of show and tell so bring anything that you think may be of interest to the group, such as your latest turning projects(s), wood to swap, a problem you want help resolving, etc.
3. Last we will have a demo of making miniature bird houses..
